Born in Kansas (1978), I grew up in Wyoming, went to film school in Las Vegas, worked in the film industry in Los Angeles, volunteered for the Peace Corps in West Africa, received MA in English at the University of Nebraska, received MFA in creative writing at The Ohio State University, and am currently a PhD candidate in literature at Florida State University. I'm very happily married -- no kids just yet, but we have a lovely cat named Beatrice.
I authored The Complete Works of Marvin K. Mooney: a novel, published in 2010 by Sator Press.
I assembled MEAT, a forthcoming collaboration with Vanessa Place and Blake Butler, to be published in the Fall of 2012 by Roof Books.
I curate the online art gallery Bright Stupid Confetti.
I contribute to the literary website HTMLGIANT.
